NettetActually it seems especially in gaming the 12th gen is not much better than 11th. The majority of the performance increase comes from single core performance, which is not applicable in a gaming scenario. Even the ddr5 seems to not be an improvement enough to justify the cost. I would say it’s like choosing 64gb ram over 32gb. Double the ram, yes.
